The new curling season opened last night at the Alexandria Curling Club, as the facility hosted the first draws of its Opening Bonspiel.

It was a busy week for ice man Jim Poulton getting the surface ready in time for Friday action. League play, along with the club’s Adult Learn to Curl and junior programs, will begin soon.
