Jr. B Glens shut out on home ice

On home ice Friday night, the Alexandria Glens were blanked 2-0 by the Embrun Panthers, despite goaltender Nicolas Rousseau’s 38-save performance.

The Glens mustered 30 shots on Embrun backstop William Nguyen. Neither team scored on a power play, with the Panthers going zero for six, while Alexandria was zero in four opportunities.

The Glens continue the languish in the Martin Division basement, with just 3 points, on a record of 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 overtime loss. The team has a -24 goal differential through 10 games and is one of two clubs (of eight in the division) on the negative side.

Skate with the Glens

Players are scheduled to attend the community free skate at the Glengarry Sports Palace on Sunday, October 20, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
