The region’s junior ‘C’ hockey league is looking at a January 8, 2021, start to a modified season that will feature non-contact play, at least under current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
Last night, league and team representatives met to review their plan for a 2020-21 season. The current proposal is for a season of 18 regular-season games followed by playoffs.
As previously announced, play will feature no body contact, in line with current health and safety regulations of Hockey Eastern Ontario, local health units, and the provincial government.
