Junior B Glens playing five games in six days

A busy stretch began last night on the road for the Alexandria Glens of the CCHL2, as the boys dropped a 7-5 decision to the Ottawa West Golden Knights.

The game marked the start of four games in as many nights and five in six days.

Jacob Lefebvre, maned the third star of the contest, had a three-point effort, including a goal.

Other Alexandria point-getters were Nico Pozzebon (1 goal, 1 assist), Zachary Power (1 G, 1 A), Reese Donnelly (1 G, 1 A), Nicolas Corry (1 G), Alexim Veilleux (1 A), and Elijah Boisvert (1 A).

Tyler Desjardins took the loss in net, despite making 47 saves.

Tonight’s contest, versus the Casselman Vikings at the Glengarry Sports Palace, is set for an 8 p.m. start.

Saturday evening will see the Glens playing in Athens, and Sunday afternoon the boys will be in Embrun.

On Tuesday, starting at 8:15 p.m., the Glens will skate into Williamstown to take on the Char-Lan Rebels.
