Cornwall Prowlers clinch home ice for first round of playoffs

Following last weekend’s EOSHL action, the Cornwall Prowlers have clinched home ice for the first round of the playoffs.


In their first game of 2020, the Prowlers spanked West Carleton 9-3, led by Jeff Clarke’s four-point (2 goals, 2 asissts) effort.

Also scoring were Tristan Perreault-Gagnon (2), Devon Burns, Mario Duquette, Brian Landry, Gabriel Veilleux, and Storm Adams.

Assists were claimed by Veilleux (3), Dylan Stacey (2), James Kirkwood (2), Adams (2), Marc Andre Labelle (2), Landry, and Nick Dixon.

Goaltender Frederic Roy made 52 saves to backstop the victory over the top-ranked Rivermen.

West Carleton leads the standings, with a record of 10 wins, 1 regulation loss, 1 overtime loss, and 1 tie. Cornwall stands at 10-2-2-0.
