The second annual Sisters’ Cup hockey game, “a celebration of sport between our two Catholic sister schools … to come together as sisters in sport,” will take to the ice in Cornwall on Thursday, as the girls hockey teams from Holy Trinity and St. Joseph’s meet in a fundraiser for Maison Baldwin House.
The December 5 event will take place at Cornwall’s multi-pad arena, beginning at 4 p.m. The game is booked for pad 1.
The south end of the rink will be set aside for Falcons supporters, with the north end for Panthers fans. In between will be seating for dignitaries.
Goodwill donation will be accepted at the doors upon entry.
The game format will be periods of 10, 10, and 12 minutes.
Holy Trinity won the inaugural 2018 event, 3-1, over the Panthers.
