In Alexandria on Friday night, the Glens dropped their second straight CCHL2 contest to the Arnprior Packers, edged 5-4.
The Packers scored the game-winner with 86 seconds remaining in the game, potting a power-play marker.
Danik Martin got the start in net for the Glens, playing the first period and allowing 3 goals on 12 shots. Alexandria scored twice at the other end of the ice on 14 shots on goal.
Nicolas Rousseau manned the hemp hut for the Glens the rest of the way, stopping 15 of 17 shots he faced.
Two Glens had three-point nights: Nico Pozzebon (1 goal, 2 assists) and Jacob Lefebvre (3 assists).
Other marksmen were Elijah Boisvert, Kyle Joly, and Alexim Veilleux, while picking up helpers were Nicolas Ouellette, Brendon Watson, and Daniel Scott.
The Arnprior Packers were afforded nine power-play opportunities, capitalizing twice. The Glens had the man advantage five times, scoring once.
Senior A Prowlers fall to West Carleton
Friday night EOSHL action saw the Cornwall Prowlers slip to second place in the standings, as the team dropped a 4-3 decision to the West Carleton Rivermen.
Jesse Fontaine, Gabriel Veilleux, and Jeff Clarke scored for Cornwall. Goaltender Frederic Roy made 32 saves in the loss.
Hawks drop home-ice contest
In Hawkesbury, the CCHL Hawks lost to the visiting Carleton Place Canadians 6-4.
Hawks point-getters were Zachary Lefebvre (1 goal, 1 assist), Jaxon Camp (2 A), Drew Rose (2 A), Luke Grainger (1 G), Matt Gasuik (1 G), Owen Gonter (1 A), Sebastien Paquette (1 A).
Goaltenders Mathieu Chenier and Robbie Nuchereno shared duties, combining to make 17 saves.
