Falcons to battle Panthers for SD&G high school football championship

In what will be a rematch of the high school Charity Bowl, the Holy Trinity Falcons and St. Joseph’s Panthers will play for the SDGAA football championship, on Friday, November 8, in Cornwall.

When the Catholic rivals last met, the top-ranked Panthers prevailed 5-0.

Holy Trinity, last Friday, won the SD&G semifinal, shutting out La Citadelle 21-0.

The championship game is set for a noon kickoff on the gridiron at St. Joseph’s.
