Rebels drop decision in Casselman

It was a tough CCHL2 outing for the Char-Lan Rebels on Thursday night, as the boys skated to a 7-2 loss in Casselman, largely done-in by a four-spot in the second stanza.

Char-Lan’s goals were netted by Taran Fiacco and Reese Donnelly, with assists to Paul Waldhauser and Fiacco. Devon Popp and Cole Eakins split goaltending duties, combining for 29 saves.

With the defeat, the Rebels have a record of 4 wins, 5 losses, and 1 overtime loss, for 9 points and sixth place in the division standings.

Their next opponent will be the Richmond Royals, coming to Williamstown on Saturday, October 26, for an 8 p.m. game. The Royals are in seventh place, 3 points behind Char-Lan, with a game in hand.
