Maxville’s senior ‘A’ hockey team’s wallet remains empty thus far this season, as the Millionaires have yet to hit the win column in EOSHL action. The squad’s most recent game on October 18 went into the books as a 13-3 robbery.
West Carleton was the victor, and in the process, the Rivermen put some pressure on the league-leading Cornwall Prowlers, trailing them by just two points in the standings.
Bradley Gabbour, Patrick Gilmour, and Stevie Ray Adams scored for Maxville in the loss. David Bennett had two assists, and Tristen Elie chalked up one.
Marie Soleil Deschenes took the loss in net.
The Millionaires are the only team in the league without a win, entering play this week with a 0-4 record and a -17 goal differential.
Next up, the squad will host West Carleton on Saturday, October 26, starting at 2 p.m.
