Senior ‘A’ hockey league holds draft lottery

The new Eastern Ontario Senior ‘A’ Hockey League held its draft lottery today, with the West Carleton Rivermen claiming the coverted first overall spot.

The six-round draft, set for August 14, will see the Maxville Millionaires pick 3rd, 6th, 11th, 14th, 19th, and 22nd. The Cornwall Prowlers will select players 2nd, 7th, 10th, 15th, 18th, and 23rd. Aside from the first pick, the Rivermen get the 8th, 9th, 16th, 17th, and 24th selections, while the Deseronto Bulldogs will choose players 4th, 5th, 12th, 13th, 20th, and 21st.
