Alexandria Glens make off-season trade

Alexandria’s CCHL2 Glens have made an off-season trade, dealing Maverick Baxtrom, who hails from Long Sault, to the Winchester Hawks, in exchange for Graeme Buffone and a player development fee. Baxtrom (a 1999-born player) skated in 42 regular-season games during the 2018-19 season, notching 24 points for the Glens. He added one goal in three playoff contests. Buffone, of Orleans, is a 2000-born defenceman who recorded 13 points in 36 games.

Billets sought: The Glens are seeking billet families for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Families would be compensated for hosting out-of-town junior ‘B’ hockey players. For details, please contact the team via its Facebook page.
